　『NFSUG』シリーズというと、まず真っ先にそのド派手なビジュアルエフェクトやサウンド、そして豊富なカスタマイズが注目される。しかしこの手の要素はレースゲームの"周辺"に存在するものであり、『NFSUG』はこの"周辺"に至るまで恐ろしい作り込みを行っているわけなのだが、ではレースゲームとして"ド真ん中"である、走りの部分に関してはどうなのか。これは言わずもがな、｢素晴らしい｣の一言に尽きる。

『NFSUG2』の"生感"溢れるスーパーディティール

　準備期間を入れれば数年という時間をかけることも珍しくもない、昨今のビデオゲーム開発。しかし我らが『NFSUG2』はどこでその時間をやり繰りしたのか知らないが、ゲーム中に実車カスタム世界と時差のない、"生感"たっぷりのパーツをドバドバと収録しまくっている。
